I’d like to adress a number of comments yesterday’s video got and explain a few things about HIV here in Germany. a) This year 70% of all new cases of HIV-infections here were men having sex with men. b) In the last decade there was an alarming increase of newly diagnosed HIV-positive MSM (646 in 2000 to more than 1629 in 2009) b) The numbers for heterosexuals were 269 in 2000 to 423 in 2009. c) Reports on HIV-infections are mandatory and anonymous. d) As health insurance is mandatory in Germany, you can’t get kicked out by your insurance. e) HIV tests are not routinely done when you get operated on. f) Testing for HIV without the patient’s consent is illegal. g) Getting results from a rapid test takes about 30 minutes and it’s only unreliable inasmuch sometimes there is a falsely positive result. h) The more expensive and reliable Western Blot test takes 5 hours. i) Approximately 20% of all MSM never had an HIV-test. j) Condoms will protect you. k) Sometimes people will be stupid and have sex without proper protection. l) Which might kill you. Last year 550 people died of AIDS in here in Germany.
OK -so since they were waiting on Ollie’s results does that mean Christian didn’t get tested ? That makes no sense -And I know it is only a tv show but I think I agree with many comments regarding believability –Since they have been together for a while they should have been tested a few times by now. In the real world the people I know get tested regularly (even when being “safe”). Just a thought —but hey the writers can do things their way and it made for some good scenes btw the boys
@pinkyboose I agree. With K & S I discovered that two men in love were very enjoyable to watch. At first I thought there was something bizarre about me, but with C & O found that there are many girls who share the liking. So I’m not so odd after all:))

@GuestEightyFour I can also see what I think is a warmth and closeeness between Olli and Christion that wasn’t there 3-5 months ago? There was a time when Olli kept giving what I call “kamakazi” kisses and Christion seemed to be pulling back. The physical language was aloof despite the dialoque. Now the physical touching better mathches the daloque. Example The hug Christian gives Olli the night before they get the HIV test results..
@Demetri450 The storyline takes place in Duesseldorf Germany. All the outdoor city scenes are shot in Duesseldorf. The inside scenes of No Limits and their flat share are in the ARD TV studios located in Cologne, Germany. Cologne is located about 40 miles south of Duesseldorf. Both Jo and Thore live in Cologne
I was all a bundle of nerves and concerned for the boyz! I also melted and was all warm and fuzzy when Christian proposed…..I am all twitterpated over them….:) I can’t wait to watch their wedding….i hope it is either over the top or very elegant and simple –Cheers everybody

@daiselladarling Well said. The only reason I took on( replied) to Lilithilien in this forum is because I was blocked by her on the EKP channel. All this because I made fun in a rather mild way of Aldiwitch’s reply to my reply to her reply to my original comment concerning AWZ- EP981. Confusing? Yeah, but the rest of it is pretty clear, as we know. Basically, I felt she was overreacting(being huffy). I also was unsubscribed by them. Anyway, hopefully this will be it for this…issue.
@archraskal You are so on the mark about Lilithilien and her snippy cohorts. Playing in EKP’s yard isn’t much fun–or interesting. It’s unfortunate that AWZ is so very good and the “Heathers” are the only game in town. Tolerance of any divergence from the “EKP” line is non-existent. It’s rather sad how much pleasure they seem to derive from their verbal parrying of interlopers.
That was so romantic of Christian :’(
(Sigh) When will the next episode be? I am dying of curiosity of whats next, sometimes wished I was in Germany so that I could watch this.

@nudna1975 I agree with you somewhat but i do not think they were trying to be discriminatory in my humble opinion, they were trying to drive home a very serious point, HIV infection rates are on the rise again amongst young gay men (mainly minority ethnic groups sadly), those who did not witness or never saw the devastation it did in the early years, also even though treatments are available the thought of being infected could scare anyone to death.
